whisper.cpp (automatic captions)

Tauri and the web view

Operating-system frameworks

ScreenCaptureKit, AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, ImageIO, Accelerate (macOS) and Windows.Graphics.Capture, Media Foundation, WASAPI, WIC (Windows) are system components used through their public APIs. They are not redistributed.

symphonia (MPL-2.0 notice)

Audio decoding uses the symphonia crates, licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. They are used unmodified, as published on crates.io, and linked into the executable. Their source is available at https://github.com/pdeljanov/Symphonia. MPL-2.0 is a file-level copyleft: it applies to those files only and places no obligations on the rest of ScreenCraft. The same applies to the other MPL-2.0 crates in the list below (cssparser, selectors, dtoa-short, option-ext), all unmodified.

Assets created for ScreenCraft

The application icon, procedural wallpapers, cursor artwork, device frames and the click/keyboard sounds (ui/sounds/*.wav, generated by scripts/make-sounds.py) were created for this project and are covered by the MIT License. No third-party artwork, fonts or audio samples are bundled.
