Annotations

Point at things, hide things, and add titles without leaving the editor.

Types

• Text: titles and callouts, with size, colour, outline and optional background.
• Arrow, box, circle, highlight: draw attention to part of the screen.
• Blur and pixelate: hide passwords, emails or anything sensitive.
• Spotlight: darken everything except one region.

Pinned to the recording or to the frame

An annotation can be pinned to the recording, so it moves and scales with the zoom, or fixed to the output frame like a title. Drag it on the preview to place it, and drag its ends on the Notes track to set when it appears.

Shortcut display

When shortcuts or special keys are pressed during recording, they pop up on screen as key caps. Only shortcuts and special keys are recorded, never ordinary typing. Turn the display off in the Annotate panel.
