Pace and transitions
Keep the interesting parts at full speed and move quickly through the rest.
Speed per clip
Select a clip and set its speed. Sped-up clips show one compact marker (for example 2x) instead of a row of slivers.
Find idle stretches
In the Pace panel, choose a minimum length and let ScreenCraft find stretches with no clicks, typing or cursor motion. Optionally keep the parts where you are speaking. Apply a speed to all of them in one step.
Ramps
A speed ramp eases from one speed to another instead of jumping, and appears on the timeline as one block (for example 2.3x to 4.2x).
Freeze frames
Hold the current frame for a set time, useful for pointing something out in a still.
Transitions
Where two clips meet you can add a cross-dissolve, fade, flash, blur, slide or zoom. Dissolves use footage from both sides of the cut, so nothing overlaps or loses time.
