Audio

Three sources can be mixed: the system audio, your microphone and music.

Levels

Set the microphone, system audio and music volume separately, or mute any of them. The microphone is levelled automatically: quiet recordings are lifted to a healthy speech level, and nothing is ever turned down.

Music

Add a music clip on the Music track. Drag it to place it, trim its ends, and set fade in and fade out. A waveform shows where the loud parts are.

Ducking

Turn on ducking and the music drops while you speak. Detection adapts to the noise floor of your room, so a hissy microphone does not keep the music permanently low.

Click and key sounds

Optional subtle sounds for clicks and key presses. They are synthesised inside the app, so no recordings are bundled.

Playback

Hold Space to play at 2x while checking a long section.
